Shotteswell is a small but thriving village with the oldest
and smallest church in the four parishes, dedicated to St
Laurence.
A Grade 2* listed building, it was enlarged by the Normans
for the second time in 1100, so worship has continued here
for over 1,000 years.
There is a good village hall and an active group of bellringers.
The bells were augmented and rehung in 1996.
