Warmington is an outstandingly beautiful village centred on a large green with a duck pond.
There is a flourishing playgroup and a pub, The Plough, and a Methodist chapel.
The village church is dedicated to St Michael, and was built in about 1180 by Benedictine monks from Preoux in Normandy, who established a priory at Warmington.
One of the monks would have led worship at St Michael's, and lived in the unusual second storey room, with its own fireplace and toilet above the former Chapel of St Thomas, now used as a vestry.
The church is a Grade 1 listed building.
